Summer On Screen

Announcing Summer on Screen 2021

Our summer program looks a little different this year! In an innovative and collaborative virtual experience, students will work with professional playwrights and artists to write and stage virtual productions. The program will run two and half weeks and will offer the kind of creative environment and training that Summer on Stage has historically offered, while adapting to virtual learning. Exciting professional guest artists from around the country will help students on their journey of creation.

Students who are interested in writing, performing, producing, directing, and technical theatre are all encouraged to register

June 17th – July 2nd

The program will run 9 am – 1 pm Monday through Friday and culminate in a presentation of work the evening of Friday July 2nd

There will be an optional orientation and meet and greet on June 16th at 11 am

Students should have access to a computer, camera, and microphone, and be allowed to use the Discord platform. Some homework between sessions will be expected.

$175 Tuition plus online registration fees, open to students ages 13-19 (or incoming freshman through graduating seniors) anywhere in the world!

Guest artists include, My 80-Year-Old Boyfriend Creative Charissa Bertels and Somewhere Over the Border Director Reginald Douglas
