Where can I get something to eat or drink before the show?

Arizona Theatre Company and Chef Janos Wilder are thrilled to announce a new collaboration that pairs Arizona’s preeminent producer of world-class theatrical productions with one of Tucson’s most acclaimed and beloved chefs and restaurateurs.   Janos at the Temple premieres in tandem with the opening of ATC’s 2018/2019 season and will offer a unique dining experience tailored to complement each of Arizona Theatre Company’s productions at the Temple of Music and Art.

Janos at the Temple will be open starting  90 minutes before every matinee and evening ATC performance creating lunch and dinner buffets that tease culinary themes from the plot lines of each play. The menus will be tasty, quick and price conscious at $14.50 for the lunch buffet and $24.50 for the the dinner buffet. The buffets at lunch and dinner will be complete meals offering a variety of salads, starches, main dishes and desserts while providing a whimsical glimpse at the performance ahead.

Janos at the Temple: A Garden BBQ, begins with this year’s opening comedy, NATIVE GARDENS, that pits two couples with their generational and cultural differences against one another.  Prior to the performance, you’ll find aristocratic food themes with English garden elements sharing a table with south of the border fiesta fare. Like the two couples in this lively play, there is room for each at the table we’ll be setting for you.

Janos Wilder’s culinary flare, artistry, execution and good taste that has become his signature at DOWNTOWN KITCHEN AND COCKTAIL and THE CARRIAGE HOUSE, and the virtuosic theatrical talent and creativity displayed by Arizona Theatre Company productions, including last season’s sell-out performances of OUTSIDE MULLINGAR and MAN OF LA MANCHA, are a perfect match to give patrons an unforgettable experience for all the senses.
