Ms. Paulsen is a Tony-nominated actress for her work in Robert Schenkkan’s THE KENTUCKY CYCLE, directed by Warner Shook, starring Stacy Keach.  Also on Broadway, she performed the role of Ann Putnam in THE CRUCIBLE, directed by Richard Eyre, starring Liam Neeson and Laura Linney. 

She is happy to be back at ATC where she acted in MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN and COPENHAGEN.

Paulsen has performed in theatres nationwide including:  Most recently, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and Geva Theatre in their co-production of ONE HOUSE OVER, a new play by Catherine Trieschmann.  Seattle Repertory Theatre (KING CHARLES III), American Theatre Company (KING CHARLES III), Shakespeare Theatre Company (KING CHARLES III), McCarter Theatre Center (THE FIGARO PLAYS, Marceline, directed by Stephen Wadsworth), Denver Center Theatre Company (Margaret in RICHARD III, the Nurse in ROMEO AND JULIET, Sister Aloysius in DOUBT, Kate Keller in ALL MY SONS, Mrs. Warren in MRS. WARREN’S PROFESSION, Penny Sycamore in YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU, Terri in SIDEMAN, and Molly in MOLLY SWEENEY), A Contemporary Theatre  (Josie in A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN), Intiman Theatre Company (Mrs. Webb in OUR TOWN, directed by Bartlett Sher, Birdie in LITTLE FOXES, Grace in FAITH HEALER), South Coast Repertory (Rosie in HOLY DAYS for which she received an LA Drama Critic’s Circle Award for Lead Performance), and many, many more.
